Bikram Hot 90
The original hot yoga. All other forms of hot yoga find their roots here in this 90 minute hot yoga class designed for beginners. This class runs at 105 degrees and 40% humidity to help safely and effectively stretch muscles and fascia. This is the best class for beginners to yoga.
The heat produces a fluid like stretch allowing for greater range of movement in joints, muscles, ligaments and other supporting structures of the body. Capillaries dilate in the heat; more effectively oxygenating the tissues, muscles, glands and organs and helping in the removal of waste products. The metabolism speeds up the breakdown of glucose and fatty acids. Your body burns fat more effectively and fat may be redistributed and burned as energy during the class. The heated environment helps you to strengthen your concentration, patience, determination and will power, which can benefit all areas of your life.
Express Hot 60
A 60 minute, fast paced shorter version of the Bikram 90 yoga class. The climate of the room is the same as for the Bikram 90 class. The class contains all of the postures in the beginner class however some are grouped together in a flow style and most are practiced only once per class with the general exception of the spinal extensions. We recommend taking the Bikram Beginner 90 minute classes prior to this class.
